In 2019, 19.3 million adults had Substance Use Disorder (SUD), comprising 7.7% of the U.S population. 38% struggled with illicit drug use, 73% struggled with alcohol use, 12% struggled with both drugs and alcohol, and 4% have both a Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness.

Only 11% of adults with SUD receive treatment. 20% don’t know where to get help.
